... in the footsteps of Leonardo da Vinci

Visit the organic olive groves and the unique windmill designed by Leonardo Da Vinci. It has been renovated to produce the estate’s flour and to give you the unique feeling of going back 2 centuries.

The tour includes a walk through the olive groves, an introduction to Tuscan olive oil traditions and a guided tour of the windmill and its history and operation.

Finally, you will have an olive oil tasting lesson where you will learn the characteristics of a good extra virgin olive oil.

Access

In front of Bottega del Mulino: Bottega del Mulino by Lavacchio, Via di Montefiesole, Pontassieve, FI, Italia
It is recommended to arrive at least 10 minutes before the departure time
Free parking
You can also come to Pontassieve station by train. Please note that there is no taxi service upon arrival at the station. If you need a transfer, please contact us at least 24 hours in advance with all the necessary information in order to arrange your pick-up. In 15 minutes you will be on our wine estate!
