A remarkable experience on the Estate.

Our woods have a delicious fragrance that is released from March to May and from October to November. This scent is that of the underground truffle that grows between the roots of our oaks. We offer you the opportunity to participate in a real treasure hunt for this precious tuber, accompanied by an expert guide and his truffle dogs specially trained to detect the tubers appreciated for their delicate aroma and taste. It all starts with a warm welcome and an introduction to this much sought-after tuber before setting off to find it while discovering the Tuscan countryside.

It is not only for those who like to grow, but is an exciting way to get in touch with Tuscan nature.

After the hunt, a moment of rest, then lunch will be themed around the truffle harvested in the morning, fresh pasta with grated truffle, a truffle main course and even a truffle dessert! All of this will be accompanied by the organic wines of the Fattoria Lavacchio to enjoy a hearty meal.

Access

In front of the cellars entrance: Fattoria Lavacchio Winery, Via di Montefiesole, Pontassieve, FI, Italia
It is recommended to arrive at least 10 minutes before the departure time
Free parking
You can also come to Pontassieve station by train. Please note that there is no taxi service upon arrival at the station. If you need a transfer, please contact us at least 24 hours in advance with all the necessary information in order to arrange your pick-up. In 15 minutes you will be on our wine estate!
