Formal notice ex Art. 13 Legislative Decree 196/2003

Dear Madam/Sir, we wish to inform you that Legislative Decree n°196 of 30 June 2003 (“personal data regulations”) provides for the confidentiality of data handling for private persons and ‘other subjects’.

In accordance with the regulations in question, your data will be collected with respect for lawfulness, fairness and transparency with a view to protecting your confidentiality and rights.

Under the terms of article 13 of Legislative Decree n°196/2003, we inform you of the following:

  1. The data you provide will be used exclusively to enable us to provide the service or to carry out the tourist reservation transaction you have requested on the site: “securereservation.wrooms.com”, as well as on our affiliate sites.
    At your request, by checking the appropriate fields during registration, your data will also be used to send you informational and/or commercial messages such as our Newsletter for example.
  2. Data processing will be carried out using automated tools.
  3. Your authorization is mandatory to make a tourist reservation and in case you refuse, we will not be able to meet our contractual obligations.
  4. Data collected will be communicated exclusively to people linked to the implementation of your reservation contract, such as the hotel chosen for your stay for example, or in the case of banking contestation.
    We will never divulge your data outside of this framework.

  7. We always give you the option to exercise your rights with regard to the processing controller, under art.7 of Legislative Decree n°196/2003, that you will find set out in full below:

Art. 7 – Right of access to personal data and other rights

  1. The person concerned has the right to obtain confirmation of the existence or non-existence of personal data concerning him or her, even if this has yet to be recorded, and its communication in intelligible format.
  2. The person concerned has the right to be informed:a) of the source of such personal data;
    b) of the purpose and manner of processing;
    c) of the rationale applied in the case of processing when carried out using automated tools;
    d) details of the data processing controller, Persons Responsible and representative appointed under article 5, paragraph 2 of Legislative Decree n°196/03;
    e) of the subjects or categories of subjects to whom the personal data may be communicated or who may have knowledge of it as a representative appointed in the territory of the state, persons responsible or in charge;
  3. The person concerned has the right to obtain:a) the update, rectification or if necessary, the integration of data;
    b) cancellation, anonymous transformation or blocking of data processed in breach of the law, including that which it is not necessary to keep given the purposes for which it was collected or subsequently processed;
    c) confirmation that the operations laid down in letters a) and b) have been brought to the attention, with regard to their content, of the people to whom the data was disclosed or notified, unless this is impossible or would involve the use of means clearly disproportionate to the right to be protected.
  1. The person concerned has the right to object, in whole or in part:a) for legitimate reasons, to the processing of their personal data although relevant to the purpose of the data collection;
    b) to the processing of their personal data for purposes of sending promotional or direct marketing material or to carry out market research or commercial communication.
