Chianti Rufina's secrets

Enjoy a tour and tasting of our organic and biodynamic wines. While visiting one of our vineyards, you will learn how we care for the grapes and our experience in wine making. We will also tell you about the history of the estate, which dates back to before the 1700s and is linked to the Strozzi family. You will then explore our ancient cellars and learn about the requirements and special techniques used to create our wines. Afterwards, you can practice your wine tasting skills by discovering our organic Chianti Rufina DOCG and Riserva wines, accompanied by an assortment of local cold cuts and cheeses.

Access

In front of the cellars entrance : Fattoria Lavacchio Winery, Via di Montefiesole, Pontassieve, FI, Italia
It is recommended to arrive at least 10 minutes before the departure time
Free parking
You can also come to Pontassieve station by train. Please note that there is no taxi service upon arrival at the station. If you need a transfer, please contact us at least 24 hours in advance with all the necessary information in order to arrange your pick-up. In 15 minutes you will be on our wine estate!
