A remarkable experience on the Estate.

Take part in a unique experience in Tuscany with a seasonal truffle hunt.
Between the months of June and November, truffles ripen underground in the woods of the Montefiesole estates, giving off an aroma all their own. With our expert guide and our truffle dogs, it is possible to take part in this off-the-beaten-track yet customary event at the Fattoria Lavacchio.
This activity begins with a warm welcome and an introduction to explain the growth of this unusual tuber. This is not only an activity for food lovers, but also an exciting way to get in touch with Tuscan nature.After the hunt, you will taste the truffles you have found during a cooking class with our Chef.

The cooking class will be entirely dedicated to truffles where you will be able to create fresh pasta with truffles, main course with truffles and even dessert with truffles!

Finally, you can taste your creations accompanied by our organic wines.

Access

  • In front of the cellars entrance: Fattoria Lavacchio Winery, Via di Montefiesole, Pontassieve, FI, Italia
  • It is recommended to arrive at least 10 minutes before the departure time
  • Free parking
  • You can also come to Pontassieve station by train. Please note that there is no taxi service upon arrival at the station. If you need a transfer, please contact us at least 24 hours in advance with all the necessary information in order to arrange your pick-up. In 15 minutes you will be on our wine estate!
